Export/Import (Once upon a time was written for Litcube's Universe)

This is a set of scripts designed to export game data, including personal statistics of the pilot, reputation, property, game time, credits, stations, factories, complexes, etc. You can later import this exported data into a new game.
Some anti-virus software can have a very negative effect on the speed of data export. For example, with Microsoft Security Essentials running, the process takes 18 minutes, and without it, it takes only 7 seconds.

Why is this needed? Most likely, you will not need to resort to the services of this module, but still, sometimes there are situations when you cannot do without it:

  • You installed a third party script and it ruined your game
  • You deleted a third-party script and now you want to remove all traces that it left behind
  • Patch Combo may require data export/import
  • If a new version of a mod is released, then sometimes export/import is required to continue the game

All export and import commands are located in the Main menu of the mod's settings in the Export/Import tab.

Now about the commands:

  • Prohibit the export of abandoned ships
    • prohibits or allows the transfer of abandoned ships to a new game
  • Prohibit the export of asteroids
    • prohibits or allows the transfer of all currently available asteroids to a new game. If export of asteroids is enabled, then all asteroids in the new game will be destroyed, and asteroids from the old game will be moved to the new one. If the export of asteroids is prohibited, then you will have the opportunity to transfer the asteroids you need to a new game, for this a new command will open Add an asteroid for export. As soon as you add the necessary asteroids, a new command will appear to remove them from the list for transfer Remove an asteroid from the list of asteroids for export.
